Earnings season is upon us. To date, 60 S&P 500 components have reported their numbers to Wall Street, and on average, they’re overwhelmingly beating expectations. So far, 70% of reporting companies in the S&P have exceeded analysts’ expectations for the quarter. And their share prices are reacting positively to those earnings beats.
